Adriana + Adolfo // Hopland Ranch Wedding

Adriana and Adolfo's wedding was one of my highlights of the summer. It was fun reconnecting with Adriana, as I have known her since we were friends way back in Kindergarten. I went to high school with both her and Adolfo, where they first started dating, and I feel so honored to have been able to capture the engagement and wedding photos of the sweetest, most humble couple!

At every wedding I seem to tear up at some point, but it was during their toasts that really got me. It was apparent that their friends and family are so awestruck by their love and care for each other. I was even awestruck! Not only do they have a deep love for each other, but you can tell that at the core they are simply best friends. I wish you two all the best in the decades of marriage to come!

Jake + Kailey // Marin Headlands Engagement

Such a pleasure photographing some friends, Kailey and Jake. It's always fun when you know the couple and it takes a little bit of pressure off so we can all just have fun! I was so surprised at the perfect weather in the Bay Area for this coastal session. Beautiful sunset, too! We also ended the day with Sol Food, my favorite restaurant located in San Rafael. Highly recommended for those of you who haven't been there!

Britt + Ben // Mountaintop Anniversary

For their 1-year anniversary, Brittany and Ben decided to get some photos taken! I went to high school with Brittany (shout out to Humanities Core!) and we recently reconnected due to both of us being in the wedding business now. Not only is she a wedding and event planner, but she also has an amazing blog filled with her own gluten-free recipes, which totally speaks to my heart because I'm gluten-intolerant! Check out her blog Flourless Betty!

Her and Ben were troopers and hiked in the 90-degree heat to get to one of my favorite spots. It was super fun getting to photograph their love and, as you can tell by these photos, Britt's laugh is contagious! Happy anniversary, you two!

Kelsey + Joel // Point Reyes Engagement

There couldn't have been a more perfect engagement session than this one. Kelsey and Joel found me through a friend sharing some of my photos on Facebook (shout out to Kristi!). As recent Biola graduates, they just moved back to Northern California to get married and start a life together. I am so serious when I say that I feel so honored to photograph their love. Their laughter is contagious! I barely even had to pose them because they just had fun with each other the whole time. The lighting was perfect both in the trees and on the side of the road where we stopped for sunset photos. Couldn't have asked for a better day and so stoked to photograph them again in March for their wedding!

Alicia + Kalen // Sonoma County Backyard Wedding

I didn't have the chance to meet Alicia and Kalen in person until 4 days before their wedding. Last year, we connected through Skype to discuss details of their wedding photography, as this travel-bug-bitten couple was living in Costa Rica at the time. Huge nod to them for planning this ridiculously beautiful wedding while living in another country until the week of their wedding!

This may look like a seasoned wedding venue, but it is actually the private home of a family friend. The chicken-coop-turned-reception-barn, manicured ceremony field, wooden bar area, and polished bocce ball courts make this place insanely perfect for a stunning celebration. It was a warm, happy day of people from all over California coming together to celebrate this perfect match.

My favorite part of these photos are the ones in the reception barn. Being lit from only one side, it usually would pose an annoying problem for photography but I love the mood that it gave the whole area. The warmth of the wood really complimented Alicia's white dress and created dreamy photos. Congrat to you two, Alicia + Kalen! Wishing you decades of happiness and exploring more and more countries together!
