Adriana + Adolfo // Hopland Ranch Wedding

Adriana and Adolfo's wedding was one of my highlights of the summer. It was fun reconnecting with Adriana, as I have known her since we were friends way back in Kindergarten. I went to high school with both her and Adolfo, where they first started dating, and I feel so honored to have been able to capture the engagement and wedding photos of the sweetest, most humble couple!

At every wedding I seem to tear up at some point, but it was during their toasts that really got me. It was apparent that their friends and family are so awestruck by their love and care for each other. I was even awestruck! Not only do they have a deep love for each other, but you can tell that at the core they are simply best friends. I wish you two all the best in the decades of marriage to come!

Caitlin + Drew // Mountain Engagement

So excited to shoot Caitlin and Drew's engagement photos because we all know that those beach photos of them from last summer were hot, hot, hot! My favorite photos always end up being from sessions that I felt most comfortable at. These two are really great people who were down for anything! I even made them hike a little bit.

We went to 3 locations but I didn't even post any from the first 2 locations because the last one trumped them all. I had never been to this outlook before, only heard about a trail in this spot and hoped that if we walked up a little bit, we would find a view. I had no idea I would find this slice of heaven! STUNNING. Although theres redwood-filled hills everywhere in my area, it's actually pretty hard to find a view like this due to most hilltops being privately owned. (Don't even get me started on how every field is fenced). Anyways, we blasted some music (Omen by Disclosure ft. Sam Smith is my jam right now) and took some pretty epic photos.

Mimo + Angelo // City Hall Engagement

I've had the amazing opportunity to work with Mimo on a couple styled shoots involving her mouth-watering baked goods. One shoot I still have yet to post, yikes! Anyways, when she got engaged, I was so honored to to shoot her engagement photos and excited to photograph her big day this summer!

As her fiancee Angelo was visiting town for a week, we only had one day that would work to take photos. Thanks to El Niño, the weather decided to turn rainy. Instead of our beach shoot, we ended up with Plan B at San Francisco's City Hall. I had never been here before and was shocked at how many people were here on a Friday afternoon. It was packed with weddings but we were able to find some nooks to take intimate photos in.

Later on, I took them to Sightglass Coffee, one of my favorites in the city. I love going here when I'm in the city because it's incredibly beautiful, interesting (with its production roastery right on the floor), and has an affogato bar! Can it get any better?

Anyways, for a Plan B, I was super happy with these turned out. Maybe rainy days aren't so bad!
